Will you be taking direct debit payments from members?

If you pay by direct debit, please note that there will be no charge for the month of June in line with the credit owed to you for January payment. Direct Debits will resume in July.

Will my annual membership be extended?

Yes annual memberships will be extended to cover Government imposed closure periods.

I’m not currently a member of Finn Valley Leisure, will I be able to join when you re-open?

What services are available at Finn Valley when open?

Most of our services with some restrictions at some facilities. Due to social distancing restrictions, and for the safety of both our staff and customers, restrictions on occupancy will apply to all areas. Following the advice of experts, our jacuzzi and suana will remain closed until further notice.

Some of the internal facilities, including changing facilities and lockers will be restricted, due to distancing and capacity restrictions. We are encouraging customers to arrive gym ready to avoid using the changing rooms and lockers where possible.

Do I have to book in advance to use the gym or swimming pool?

Yes. You can call us where our team will be happy to assist.

Is Pay As You Go available?

Yes when we are open, Pay As You Go options are available for our swimming pools and gyms. Contact us for details of pricing and availability.

Can Covid-19 be spread in a swimming pool?

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have stated there is no evidence that the virus that causes COVID-19 can be spread to people through the water in pools, hot tubs, spas, or water play areas. Furthermore, the HSE advise that current recommended disinfection practice is sufficient to inactivate COVID-19 virus in chlorinated drinking water and swimming pools. Aura swimming pools operate at levels above this recommended practice meaning our chlorinated water is safe.

Are hairdryers available for use?

No, hairdryers are not currently available.

When will fitness classes resume?

When the lifting of restrictions takes place fitness classes will resume in late July. Additional safety measures will be in place including hygiene, social distancing, equipment usage and occupancy restrictions.

What precautions will I need to take when attending the swimming pool or gym?

We will be asking all customers to adhere to new health and safety operational guidelines. Details can be found here. Please ensure you read this carefully. This page will be updated regularly.

Do I have to wear a face-covering?

We encourage customers entering our facility to wear a face covering in line with public health guidance. This also applies to the viewing area in our swimming pools. Face coverings can be removed while swimming or exercising.

Following Government advice, children under 12 are exempt from wearing a face covering. Persons with medical considerations as provided by the public health guidance are also exempt from wearing a face covering.
